This is such an epic Lake District wedding that it is coming at you in two parts. Where to start? Well Emese is Hungarian and Lorcan, well he has been all over, France, Ireland, the Lake District to name but a few. They now live together in the Netherlands and it was from there that I had my first Skype conversation with the two of them about their wedding in …

In July it was a real pleasure to photograph Faith and Nick’s Cheshire wedding at the lovely Colshaw Hall near Knutsford. Faith & Nick had been working as teachers in Asia but wanted to come back to Cheshire for their wedding to celebrate with all their friends and family. Here are a few sneak peeks from their special day.

Here is an extra special photo from Jen & Matt’s wedding at Rookery Hall in Cheshire recently. Jen looked stunning as she walked down the stairs ready to make an entrance for her groom. Look out for their wedding coming to the blog very soon.

Oh my God! I can’t believe it has taken me so long to get around to blogging Lucy & Lee’s amazing wedding at Styal Lodge in Cheshire. Not only are they the loveliest people to work with but they’re also not too shabby to look at either. And what about Lucy’s bridesmaids, her beautiful sisters, or ‘The Jerram Sisters,’ as I like to call them, like some sort of singing sensation …

Nikki and Mike’s wedding at Inglewood Manor in Cheshire was packed full of fun and laughter and beautiful smiles. Smiles that were contagious to say the least. Mike couldn’t help but smile when he saw Nikki come down the aisle and who can blame him. She looked stunning in her dress and that striking red lipstick. Nikki must have felt pleased as punch too as she saw her handsome groom …

One of the best things about being a Somerset wedding photographer is that I get to visit all of the beautiful locations that the county has to offer. For this one I headed to the golden fields of Compton Pauncefoot for Laura and Chris’ wedding. They live in Manchester but Chris’ parents live in the village at Compton so when the chance arose to get married in the church and …

When I arrived at White Chimnies and saw Elly in her dress she looked incredible and when she told me that it was from ASOS I was stunned. It suited her perfectly and I couldn’t wait to photograph her in it. Then I saw her sister/bridesmaid in her floral dress and got excited all over again. Again this was another peach from ASOS. Elly’s bouquet was grown by her Mum …

I am so very fortunate to have met many wonderful people during 2015 and this is my chance to thank them for letting me into their lives. The days of a year fly by so quickly and it’s hard to believe another one has passed, but I hope the photographs I have taken over the last twelve months will last forever and instantly bring back memories of a special …

Today I want to share this image with you and tell you the story behind it. This was taken at the wedding of Elly & Liam a couple of weeks ago in Staffordshire at their Tipi Wedding. It’s not a technically brilliant photograph, it’s a bit orange because of the colour of the canvas and it’s not going to win any awards, but it’s a very special photograph. You …

How remiss of me not to have shared Emily & Lee’s wedding with you at Packington Moor in Staffordshire. Both Emily & Lee have lost one of their parents so it was an emotional occasion but those looking on from elsewhere would have been proud of them both as looked so happy together. There were tears of course but that’s to be expected and they were tears of sadness and …

Have you ever had that feeling where your face hurts from smiling and laughing too much? If you have you’ll know exactly how Claire & Matthew felt at the end of their wedding day. You’ll also probably know that smiling is infectious and that was certainly the case at the Great John Street Hotel where Claire & Matt partied into the night. Before that though their friends and loved ones …

One of the best things about being the sort of photographer who will travel around the country is that I get to see some amazing places, work at beautiful venues and meet incredible people. Naomi and Lewis met when they were studying together at University in Buxton. For their engagement shoot they decided to take a trip down memory lane and go back to the spring town. It rained, heavily, but that didn’t stop us having a lot of fun hiding from the showers and getting some lovely moments of the obvious connection that Naomi and Lewis have. Whatever the weather, the people always …

Rob popped the question to his gorgeous girl on Christmas Day back in 2011, on a hill overlooking their favourite view. The couple picked Peover Golf Club in Knutsford, Cheshire, after falling in love with it’s space, light, gardens, and of course the food! I loved their carefree, colourful theme – nothing was too fussy, it was just beautiful and natural and everyone was so happy and relaxed. Laura and …
